NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Dhaval R. Bhalodia, co-founder of Exus Renewables and a Penn State alumnus, will deliver the commencement address at Penn State New Kensington’s spring ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, in the Athletic Center.
Bhalodia is a co-founder of Exus Renewables, where he serves as partner and head of operations, overseeing the safe, reliable and high-performing operation of renewable energy plants across a portfolio exceeding 6 gigawatts, with a continued focus on growth and optimization. He brings more than 18 years of experience in renewable energy, spanning engineering, analytics, asset optimization and executive leadership. His career has been defined by applying data-driven insights to improve reliability, increase production and drive long-term value across wind and solar assets.
Before co-founding Exus Renewables, Bhalodia held leadership roles at EverPower Wind Holdings, where he joined as an asset optimization manager and later served as director of asset optimization. Earlier in his career, he worked at GE Renewable Energy as a performance and diagnostics engineer, where he earned three patents and was recognized with the GE Energy President’s Award for his technical and analytical contributions.
Bhalodia earned a bachelor of science in aerospace engineering from Penn State through the University’s 2+2 Plan, beginning his studies at Penn State Hazleton and completing his degree at University Park. He graduated in 2008 as student marshal and valedictorian for the College of Engineering.
