UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The American Red Cross of State College is holding a summer blood drive challenge between Penn State’s academic colleges and departments.
The challenge runs from June 1 to July 31 and features colleges competing with colleges and departments competing with departments. The college and department who recruit the most donors will receive a trophy and bragging rights for a year. In addition, all presenting donors will receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last.
Upcoming blood drive times, dates and locations include:
— June 12 at the HUB-Robeson Center (10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.);
— June 13 in 118 Agricultural Science and Industries Building (10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.);
— June 18 at the Innovation Park Technology Center (9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.);
— June 19 at the HUB-Robeson Center (10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.);
— June 20 at Paterno Library (10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.);
— June 21 at the Millennium Science Complex (9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.);
— June 22 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park (12:30 to 5 p.m.);
— June 26 at the 329 Building at Innovation Park (9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.); and
— June 27-28 at the HUB-Robson Center (10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
