UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Based on questions received in advance of Penn State’s virtual Town Hall event addressing sexual misconduct, the University has added another expert to the panel discussion.
Stephanie Delaney, executive deputy chief of University Police and Public Safety, will join Penn State President Eric J. Barron and other guests for the virtual Town Hall, set for 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 8.
Barron will host the discussion and share updates on the University’s ongoing progress, and answer questions from community members about education, prevention, support and response efforts around sexual misconduct at Penn State.
The Town Hall will be streamed live at https://LiveEvents.psu.edu/ and will be archived online for later viewing.
Joining Barron and Delaney will be staff members from key offices and a student from a campus organization focused on this critical issue:
- Suzanne Adair, associate vice president for affirmative action
- Tamla Lewis, associate general counsel
- Danny Shaha, assistant vice president of Student Affairs
- Nora Van Horn, student in the Schreyer Honors College and member of the Schreyer Gender Equity Coalition
- Yvette Willson, interim director of the Gender Equity Center
As a priority throughout Barron’s presidency, Penn State has initiated a series of efforts related to sexual misconduct prevention and response. At the Town Hall, panelists will provide an overview of progress in key areas, such as education and prevention measures, ongoing review of policies and processes, and more. They also will answer questions from the community and discuss causes and prevention of sexual assault, mitigation plans, related laws and University policies, support and advocacy for survivors, and student engagement on combatting sexual violence.
