Financial literacy overview webinar scheduled for Aug. 24

Webinars and events through the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center are offered at no cost to the Penn State community

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center will offer a financial literacy webinar from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 24. This webinar will kick off a new year of programming for the center and provide attendees a starting point for improving their overall financial health.

The financial literacy overview webinar will cover core competencies, the elements of financial well-being, steps to financial literacy, freedom from debts, and mastering the principles of budgeting.

The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center offers services to the entire Penn State community and is part of Penn State Undergraduate Education, the academic administrative unit that provides leadership and coordination for University-wide programs and initiatives in support of undergraduate teaching and learning at Penn State.
