UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Carla Pratt, associate dean for diversity and inclusion, professor of law, and Nancy J. LaMont Faculty Scholar at Dickinson Law, will present "Using Social Dominance Theory to Understand Why Anti-Discrimination Law Fails to Achieve Racial Equality" from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, in 217 Willard Building at University Park.
The lecture is the first in the Africana Research Center’s 2017-18 "Food for Thought" series. These free monthly talks are open to the public, and free pizza and refreshments will be provided.
