Forensic science mock crime scenes to be staged around University Park

Mock crime scenes to be staged Nov. 4, 9 and 12

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State forensic science program will stage a number of mock crime scenes around various locations at the University Park campus on Nov. 4, 9 and 12. The areas will be marked with "Mock Crime Scene" signage and may affect parking in some locations.

Below are the dates and areas affected:

  • Thursday, Nov. 4: Sections of Nittany Parking Deck on levels five and six will be offline for mock crime scenes.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 9: Several cars will be set up at Snider Agricultural Arena for a mock crime scene. Parking will not be affected.
  • Friday, Nov. 12: Several cars will be set up on Big Hollow Road near the Sheriff Training area for mock crime scenes. Parking will not be affected.

Only forensic science students participating in these exercises should interact with the sites.
