Free bike safety workshop to be held Sept. 4

Penn State students, faculty and staff, as well as local community members (ages 18 and older) are encouraged to attend a free bike safety workshop from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 4 at 117 Weston Community Center at the White Course Apartments on University Park campus.

This workshop will teach participants the rules of the road and bike safety skills before bringing the group outside to a beginner-friendly practice course at the Brown 11 parking lot.

All participants must bring a bike and helmet to participate. Participants will receive a free pair of Penn State bike lights.

Space is limited and RSVPs must be received by the end of the day on Tuesday, Sept. 3. This workshop is sponsored by Penn State Transportation Services.
