Freshens Fresh Food Kitchen opening on University Park campus

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Freshens Fresh Food Kitchen is opening in the Engineering Collaborative Research and Education Building (ECoRE) at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10. 

Freshens is a fresh casual restaurant offering prepared-to-order food such as grilled flatbreads, salads, rice and acai bowls, and smoothies. All food is prepared to order and will offer vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options. Freshens will also sell select Penn State Bakery items and Starbucks Coffee and beverages.  

“We are honored to be included as a dining option at Penn State and we are excited to offer the campus community healthy, great tasting options to fuel their day,” said Christina Jockwig, Freshens vice president of marketing and digital content. 

Freshens will accept LionCash, Campus Meal Plans, Commuter Meal Plans and credit card payments.
