Ginger Zielinskie to speak at Penn State Wilkes-Barre commencement ceremony

LEHMAN, Pa. — Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s Spring 2019 commencement will be held in the gymnasium of the Athletic & Recreation Building at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4. This year’s commencement speaker will be Ginger Zielinskie, president and chief executive officer at Benefits Data Trust.

Zielinskie leads a nonprofit organization that aims to help people live healthier, more independent lives by creating smarter ways to access essential benefits and services. With over 15 years of experience in building and scaling health and human service organizations, Zielinskie reaches across sectors to align better outcomes for individuals and families. During her tenure, Zielinskie has helped more than 800,000 people access benefits that help them eat, heat their homes, and enroll in healthcare. Zielinskie earned her bachelor of arts degree from Skidmore College and has an MBA in social policy and management from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
