Happy Valley Indian Performing Arts Festival set for April 7 to 9

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Happy Valley Indian Performing Arts Festival will be held April 7 to 9 in the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn State's University Park campus.

Each of the three evenings will feature a different genre of music and dance, performed by high-caliber artists from all over the world. The dance and musical forms are particular to traditions from different parts of India/South Asia. The dance forms include odissi, kathak and mohiniyattam, and the music genres include Carnatic music, nazrul geeti and dhrupad.
