UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — On fall football Saturdays, alumni and friends can "Huddle with the Faculty" to learn about timely topics from select members of Penn State’s esteemed faculty.
Now in its 27th year, Huddle with the Faculty kicks off the morning of Aug. 31, the day of Penn State football’s season opener against the University of Idaho.
The first forum will feature Glenn E. Sterner III, assistant professor of criminal justice at Penn State Abington, who will present "What is the Opioid Crisis, and What Does it Mean for Me and My Family?"
Huddle with the Faculty is free, and no reservations are needed. Presentations start at 9 a.m. at the Nittany Lion Inn. A complimentary continental breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m.
Details on the Aug. 31 discussion and all of this year's faculty speakers can be found on the Alumni Association's website.
Huddle with the Faculty is presented by the Penn State Alumni Association and sponsored by Penn State Health with support from the Nittany Lion Inn and Penn State University Press.
