UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — There's no shortage of highly photographable locales on campus. On April 15, the Office of Social Media will host the first Penn State Instameet, a chance to celebrate some of these campus spots and learn some photo pointers along the way.

The event — open to Penn Staters in student groups, clubs or organizations — will kick off at 9 a.m. in Palmer Museum with a panel of faculty, staff and social media office photographers giving tips and advice on snapping engaging photos for Instagram. Smaller groups will then tour iconic locations around central campus, such as Old Main's bell tower and the Alumni Gardens, to capture Instagram photos using the hashtag #PennStateInsta.

The event is free and will include light refreshments. For more information, email socialmediaoffice@psu.edu.
