'LaunchBox Ladies: From Passion to Profit' November event announced

'Women in the Military and Beyond'

Lehigh Valley LaunchBox continues its educational event series focusing on the unique challenges and victories of female entrepreneurs called “LaunchBox Ladies: From Passion to Profit” with a program on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The speakers will share how their military service has influenced their entrepreneurial pursuits and business careers.

A donation will be requested at the door. The event is open to students and the public on a limited first-come, first-served basis. Networking and the program are from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus. Light fare is provided.

Superintendent, State Correctional Institution at Mahanoy

DelBalso oversees more than 600 staff, approximately 2,400 inmates and an $88 million budget. She is also a retired Army veteran, serving 28 years.

Sorrentino is a security and intelligence professional, focusing on critical incident management, behavioral analysis, and threat assessment. She served in the U.S. Navy.
