Learn about managing credit cards during Jan. 28 financial literacy webinar

Webinars through the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center are offered at no cost to the Penn State community

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The financial experts at the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center at Penn State are offering a workshop focused on credit cards, from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.

Participants can use this Zoom link to attend the webinar at no cost. Additionally, self-study modules are available here from “MoneyCounts: A Penn State Financial Literacy Series.”

The Tuesday webinar will cover advantages and disadvantages of credit cards, how to choose the right credit card, what is in a monthly billing statement, what makes up a FICO score and what is in a credit report.

The next webinar is scheduled for Feb. 25 and will focus on debt management.

The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center offers services to the entire Penn State community and is part of Penn State Undergraduate Education, the academic administrative unit that provides leadership and coordination for University-wide programs and initiatives in support of undergraduate teaching and learning at Penn State.
