Learn how to plan for the unexpected in July 30 financial literacy webinar

Webinars through the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center are offered at no cost to the Penn State Community

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The financial experts at the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center are offering a workshop focused on insurance planning from noon to 1 p.m. July 30.

Participants can use this Zoom link to attend the webinar at no cost. Additionally, self-study modules are available here from “MoneyCounts: A Penn State Financial Literacy Series.”

The webinar will cover the types of insurance, key insurance terms, costs of insurance, common mistakes in insurance planning, and how to create an insurance budget.

This will be the final webinar of the summer until the next webinar on Aug. 27, which will feature an overview of financial literacy to start off the new academic year.
