Students who are interested in transferring to Penn State from another college or university for fall 2020 are invited to virtually attend one of Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Transfer Thursday programs from April 23 through May 21.
During these online events, students will learn about the transfer admissions process and have the opportunity to complete their Penn State application with the help of an admissions counselor. The Lehigh Valley admissions team will provide instructions on how to apply as a transfer student, how credits are transferred to Penn State and how to explore the many academic pathways that a Penn State education has to offer. Students who attend this program will have their application fee waived if they have not already paid.
“Even though we have moved the events to a virtual format due to coronavirus concerns, we are still pleased to continue offering the Transfer Thursdays program for students who are considering a Penn State education. Transfer students have unique needs, so students who attend Transfer Thursdays will get the help and information that they need to properly begin or complete their transfer process,” said Denise O’Neill, director of enrollment management, Penn State Lehigh Valley. "Whether you are enrolling for summer, fall or spring, you can participate in our Transfer Thursday program."
A transfer student is a student who has earned a high school diploma or the equivalent and has attempted at least 18 credits at another regionally accredited college or university.
All Transfer Thursdays are held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The dates for the event include April 23, April 30, May 14 and May 21.
