The LGBTQA Student Resource Center will celebrate the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community during its annual Pride Week starting Monday, March 21 with the HUB Takeover event.
Additional events on the University Park campus of Penn State include:
-- Emily McGranachan, east coast regional manager of the Family Equality Council, will present “Maybe Baby: LGBTQA Paths to Parenthood” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, in the Flex Theater, HUB.
-- Shane Bitney Crone brings his documentary "BRIDEGROOM" to the Freeman Auditorium in the Hetzel Union Builiding at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23. Serving as the week’s keynote speaker, Crone will introduce the film, and then provide the audience an opportunity to interact during a question-and-answer session.
-- Eric Lueshen, former kicker for the University of Nebraska football team from 2004-05, will lead a question-and-answer session from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 24 in the LGBTQA Student Resource Center.
-- Pride March will be held at noon (more details to come) Friday, March 25 and an LGBTQA Prom will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday, March 26 (in conjunction with the School of Theatre) in 119 Theatre Building.
