UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Graduating seniors, this one is for you! Join the Penn State Lion Ambassadors at an American-themed, stars-and-stripes celebration for the annual University-wide Senior Sendoff.

Senior Sendoff will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. The Lion Ambassadors will be celebrating with the seniors one last time before the class officially leaves its legacy behind.

"University-wide Senior Sendoff is a time for us to celebrate what the graduating class has accomplished during their time at Penn State,” said Bennett Samuel, Lion Ambassadors president. “We are very excited to welcome the Class of 2016 to the Hintz Family Alumni Center and send them out with a bang!"

At the event, there will be free hot dogs, hamburgers, and other food, inflatables, lawn games, a puppy pen with dogs from Centre County Paws, and entertainment from My Hero Zero. Mike the Mailman and Sue Paterno will be making guest appearances, as well as various alumni interest groups. Senior Sendoff is free and open to the public — any students can come participate in saying goodbye to the Class of 2016. Share photos and posts from the day at #SeniorSendoff2016.
