Lion Ambassadors to feature Intramural Building at Fall Harvest Fest

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Lion Ambassadors will be taking the Intramural (IM) Building to new heights, offering Ferris wheel rides as part of their Fall Harvest Fest Campus Showcase. 

The fall festival will take place from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, at the IM Building. In addition to the Lion Ambassadors offering tours of the newly renovated IM Building, the event will also feature free Ferris wheel rides, food, live country music, games and activities. 

“Campus Showcase is a Lion Ambassadors event designed to highlight a selected area of campus,” said Brandon Johnson, Lion Ambassadors president. “The event will feature open public fitness classes, gym sports, concession stands and more.” 

The event is free and open to the public. Previous Campus Showcase buildings have included the Palmer Museum of Art and Pegula Ice Arena. 

The Penn State Lion Ambassadors are the student alumni corps of the Penn State Alumni Association who aim to communicate the University’s history, personality and traditions to students, alumni and friends through tours and programming. Founded in 1981, the Lion Ambassadors serve as an important facet of student outreach for the Alumni Association.
