UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Lion Ambassadors will feature the Biobehavioral Health Building for their annual Campus Showcase event, “BBHealthyState.”
“BBHealthyState” will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Biobehavioral Health Building and HUB lawn. The event will promote overall health and wellness at Penn State in addition to highlighting the building.
“I’m very excited to feature BBH Building because I think that it’s a unique and interesting building that people walk past every single day, but don’t really know much about,” said Catherine Tondi, project leader for the event. “I think it is also very important to promote health and wellness on campus because there are so many simple and fun ways to be active, so this event is a great way to share that with the community.”
At the event, there will be a three-sided rock wall, free food, inflatables, tours of the building, obstacle courses, and giveaways for free gym memberships, Fitbits, and gift cards to Anthym and Rapid Transit. University Health Services, the BBH Society, Adventure Rec and other clubs and organizations will also be at the event. The event is free and open to the public.
“It’s fun to feature a different building on campus each year because it gives students and the community the opportunity to experience a part of Penn State that they may not have been very familiar with before,” said Katy Leslie, Lion Ambassadors executive vice president.
