UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Lion Ambassadors will show the Penn State community the spooky side of campus with lantern-lit tours, plenty of apple cider, and a haunted house.

Haunted Valley, complete with tours of paranormal sites on campus, will take place 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20. The tours, departing from the Hintz Family Alumni Center, will feature everything from Old Coaly to the presidents of Penn State past in an interactive tour across the Penn State University Park campus, ending with a haunted house in University House.

“We are very excited about Haunted Valley,” said Jack Titus, Lion Ambassadors committee director. “It is always a blast to show the spookiness and tradition that comes from Penn State’s past, especially when we can share that knowledge with the entire State College community. This year, we wanted to offer the opportunity for local students in the area to come out and trick or treat on the tour route!”

Other activities in the Alumni Center will showcase local student talent, free food, and Boo Bingo. Participants also can enjoy Berkey Creamery ice cream and a glimpse inside the haunted University House. The event is free and open to the public.

The Penn State Lion Ambassadors are the student alumni corps of the Penn State Alumni Association who aim to communicate the University’s history, personality and traditions to students, alumni and friends through tours and programming. Founded in 1982, the Lion Ambassadors serve as an important facet of student outreach for the Alumni Association.
