UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — McAlister’s Deli was recently voted the "Best Deli for 2024" by Centre County Favorites, a fan-voted competition celebrating Central Pennsylvania businesses in numerous categories.  

McAlister’s, located in in the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn State's University Park campus, has 559 locations nationwide and serves a variety of made-to-order sandwiches, salads, spuds and soups.  

“We are very honored to receive this award,” said Vincent Raco, director of campus retail dining. “Retail Dining has a wonderful partnership with McAlister’s Deli, and we work very hard to provide students, faculty and staff with outstanding dining options and service.” 

"Centre County Favorites," which is in its inaugural year, is presented by the Centre Daily Times. More than 65,000 votes helped decide this year’s winners.
