Penn State Beaver faculty, student present business research at conference

Two Penn State Beaver faculty members and a campus student presented their research findings last month at the 27th annual Conference of the International Academy of Business Disciplines at Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Talha Harcar, professor of marketing, chaired the Marketing Research track and co-presented twice with other colleagues on the topics of “Assessment of Moroccans Perception Towards Products/Services Advertising Credibility in the Telecommunication Sector” and “What Are the Factors Affecting Price Perceptions? The Case of Guatemala.”

Daniel W. Smith, instructor in business, gave a presentation titled “Marketing Research Budgets: How They Are Impacted by the Business Cycle."

Amy Arnold, a junior business major, gave a presentation, “Have Faith in the System? Explaining the Pay Gap,” as part of the Ethical and Social Issues Sustainability session.
