Penn State College Democrats to host the ‘Hillary Bus’

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Members of the Penn State College Democrats will join representatives from the Ready for Hillary Super PAC on Friday (Aug. 1) to distribute flyers and nonpartisan voter registration cards to the campus community.

The ‘Hillary Bus,’ a staffed motorhome that has been following Hillary Clinton on her book tour, will be parked on Pollock Road in front of the HUB-Robeson Center from 3 to 5 p.m.

“We’ve been working with Ready for Hillary the last couple semesters on student outreach and getting people registered to vote,” said College Democrats President Nadia Lehtihet, a junior majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology with minors in French and microbiology. “We’re really excited on Friday afternoon to actually have the bus come to Penn State.”

While Clinton won’t be in attendance, College Democrats members and four Ready for Hillary representatives will be on hand to answer questions, distribute campaign materials and hold a trivia game.
