HAZLETON, Pa. – Penn State Hazleton is welcoming prospective students and their families to experience the University from the comfort of their own homes this summer during a series of interactive open houses.
Students considering where to continue their education are invited to explore the flexibility of Penn State Hazleton, including the benefits of spending all four years in Hazleton or taking advantage of the 2+2 program, where students may spend their first two years in Hazleton then finish their degree at University Park or another campus.
To provide several opportunities to discover Penn State Hazleton while adhering to public health guidelines, the university is offering three virtual options: 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 1 p.m. Thursday, July 23, and 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13.
During these events, prospective students can speak with the admissions team about Penn State’s more than 275 degree programs, including 13 bachelor’s degrees and five associate degrees that can be completed at Penn State Hazleton.
Understanding that applying for scholarships and financial aid can be daunting, staff will be available to answer questions about the process.
Additionally, students interested in joining the Penn State Hazleton community can hear from current students about campus life and what it is like to be part of the “We Are” spirit.
