UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — After reviewing the changes in Penn State’s football schedule, the 2021 Homecoming executive committee has announced that Homecoming Week will be held Sunday, Oct. 17, through Saturday, Oct. 23.

According to the Homecoming executive committee, both online and in-person activities are being considered based on all regulations required by the University regarding the COVID-19 pandemic leading up to and at the time of the event.

The annual Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 22, starting on the University Park campus and continuing through downtown State College. A final decision on whether this event will be celebrated in-person or virtually will be made in the coming months.

The Homecoming football game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 23, in Beaver Stadium against the University of Illinois Fighting Illini.

Penn State Homecoming is a student-run volunteer organization that aims to celebrate tradition and instill pride in all members of the Penn State family through active engagement of students, alumni, faculty and staff across the community, throughout the year.
