Penn State Homecoming launches fundraising effort

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. —  In an effort to expand its community events and opportunities, Penn State Homecoming has launched the For the Glory Fundraiser.

Money raised by the fundraiser will be used maintain and grow the organization's numerous events throughout the year, which include the Legacy Celebration, the Best of Penn State Carnival and the Homecoming Parade.

The campaign, which hopes to raise $5,500, is being hosted through Let's Grow State, the official crowd-funding platform of Penn State. All donations through the campaign are tax deductible.

"Our hope is to consistently expand and diversify the events and experiences we provide," said Brittney Falcon, finance director. "Funds raised will give Homecoming the means necessary to be innovative in the events we create."
