Recently, "This is Penn State" hit the road -- and hit the track. 

In the latest episode, the spotlight turned to Penn State Lehigh Valley, where a nearby velodrome has made cycling a top sport. 

The campus has produced Olympic cyclists and is currently under the direction of alumna Mandy Marquardt, a seven-time national champion with Olympic aspirations of her own. 

Since the filming, the team competed in the USA Cycling Collegiate Track National Championships, where freshman McKenzie Browne won the women's collegiate sprint national championship.
