Penn State Police to host ‘Coffee with a Cop’ events across Pa. on Oct. 5

National Coffee with a Cop Day is Wednesday, Oct. 5, and Penn State police officers are celebrating, giving away coffee and snacks at 22 Penn State campuses across Pennsylvania.

Penn State students and employees are invited to stop by one of these events for free refreshments and to get to know the Penn State police officers who serve their campus. Employees and students also are encouraged to ask questions and learn more about the programs and services offered by University Police, a unit within University Police and Public Safety.

“Throughout the year, Penn State police officers host community events across the University Park and commonwealth campuses to engage with and support the members of our community,” said Charlie Noffsinger, associate vice president of University Police and Public Safety. “The celebration of national Coffee with a Cop Day provides yet another way for our officers to collectively show appreciation to those we serve and to connect with community members.”
