UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Leading up to the University’s tenth annual Military Appreciation Week beginning Nov. 11, Penn State students, faculty, staff and alumni with military connections can submit a profile of service for the opportunity to be featured on the University’s Military Appreciation website.

Profiles highlight the service and sacrifice of Penn Staters who serve or have served in the U.S. armed forces. Family members and loved ones also are welcome to submit a profile on behalf of a Penn Stater.

Military appreciation is a proud tradition at Penn State and, to date, Penn Staters have served in each U.S. military conflict since the University’s founding in 1855. Today, more than 5,600 students have direct military ties as either service members, veterans or military dependents across all of Penn State’s campuses, including World Campus.

To submit a profile and to read current profiles of service, visit Penn State’s Military Appreciation website
