Penn State Smeal’s Foley elected treasurer of sustainability professionals group

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Erik Foley, director of sustainability at the Penn State Smeal College of Business, has been re-elected treasurer of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) by the group’s board of directors.

The ISSP is the world’s leading professional association for sustainability professionals. The ISSP is a member-driven organization committed to moving the profession of sustainability forward by leading the design and delivery of the first globally recognized sustainability professional certification and by building strong networks and communities of practice.

Prior to coming to Smeal in November 2015, Foley served as managing director of Penn State’s Sustainability Institute.
