Do you know a student, faculty member or employee who goes the extra mile in the work he or she does at Penn State? Consider nominating that person for some well-deserved public recognition: a "We Are!" shout-out in Penn State Today.
"We Are!" puts the spotlight on members of the Penn State community for work they've done that goes above and beyond their job duties or responsibilities as students.
Recent examples of "We Are!" recognition include:
"She affirms students' efforts while at the same time challenges them to give more and be their best. She takes time out of her schedule to help students be successful."
"Any time you call Jim he is helpful, professional, accommodating and above all has a smile in his voice! Jim is a fantastic worker and is an asset to the Office of Physical Plant and Penn State!"
"She is kind, caring and and a great motivator. She is the go-to person for many of the questions we all have about the program."
If that sounds like someone you know, take a minute to nominate that person for a "We Are!" by going to the nomination site and explaining, in 300 characters or less, how that person makes a difference in what they do at Penn State. After review, nominations are featured in an issue of Penn State Today.
All Penn State students, faculty and staff are eligible to nominate and be nominated, with a few exceptions. Nominations should be for Penn State-related work. To learn more about eligibility and the submission review process, go to the “We Are!” guidelines.
