Penn State UNICEF to host Snowflake Ball on Feb. 25

This year marks Penn State UNICEF’s 5th anniversary of hosting the Snowflake Ball, a fundraising event that celebrates members’ hard work and the organization’s accomplishments of the prior year. The purpose of the event is to honor and support the work UNICEF does in saving and improving the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.

The Snowflake Ball is open to all Penn State students and will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25 in HUB Heritage Hall. Tickets cost $4.99 and will be on sale in the HUB through Thursday.

The event includes a dinner, raffle, performances from a few acapella and comedy groups, and other live entertainment. This year theme is “Believe in Tomorrow, Believe in Zero.” Past themes include “Dance for Zero,” “Diversity Colors Our World,” and “Winter Wonderland.” The success of this event is a result of the time and effort UNICEF members put into the planning process. The Snowflake Ball is open to all Penn State students.
