UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State University Police are investigating an incident of harassment that occurred at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Pattee/Paterno Library. An unknown male yelled and pushed the victim during an argument regarding cultural differences.
Anyone with information pertaining to the identity of the pictured individual, or who was a witness to the crime, is asked to contact University Police at 814-863-1111 or submit tips to Centre County CrimeStoppers via email at tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org. Those providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 from Centre County CrimeStoppers. Anonymous tips can be submitted at https://police.psu.edu/report-crime.
University Police also would like to remind the community to:
- If you see someone getting victimized, get involved by calling University Police at 3-1111, 911 or directly by using an emergency phone.
- Report suspicious persons immediately.
- Use the buddy system and watch out for each other.
