Drivers should be prepared for areas of traffic congestion Sunday, Nov. 27, at the Bellefonte exit/I-99 interchange of I-80 (mile marker 161), according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

According to PennDOT, the congestion should be expected 1-8 p.m. the Sunday following Thanksgiving. In the event of increased congestion, PennDOT will advise drivers via messaging to exit I-80 at Exit 173 – Lamar, rerouting traffic on state Route 64 to I-99 southbound.
