Thank you to all who participated in the Penn State Today winter photo contest! We received an incredible selection of photos reflecting winter scenes at Penn State. Our top 12 are featured here.

The winner is Gregory Bondar, part-time lecturer of history at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, who submitted the above photo of a snowy morning's view of the Smith Chapel and Carillon on the Behrend campus.

An honorable mention goes to Yousef Chavehpour, a graduate student in the Department of Health Policy and Administration and winner of the Penn State Today fall photo contest. He submitted that winning picture, of "the lone mother tree" at the Arboretum at Penn State on a foggy fall morning, as part of this group of four photos of the tree, showcasing the beauty of the location in each of the four seasons.

Photo submitted by Yousef Chavehpour, a graduate student in the Department of Health Policy and Administration. The submitted caption reads that while Chavehpour took several shots of the tree at sunrise on a cold January morning," I ultimately decided to submit this photo, as it showcases the beauty of this location throughout the year, not just one season. Each photo corresponds to the season it represents, with the snowy shot being taken on Friday, Jan. 19." Credit: Yousef ChavehpourAll Rights Reserved.
