UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- University Police are investigating an arson that occurred in the north ground floor lobby of Simmons Hall at 1:49 a.m. Aug. 4.

Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Penn State University Police at 814-863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at 877-99-CRIME. Callers may remain anonymous or may visit the Penn State University Police Silent Witness website at http://www.police.psu.edu/witness/.

(Anyone providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of as much as $1,000.

University Police would also like to remind the community to notify University Police immediately if you see any suspicious activity and secure all valuables.
