UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Career Services Professional Attire Closet has returned to help Penn State students in need source professional career attire.

Students are encouraged to visit the closet at the Bank of America Career Services Center at University Park during open hours to browse the inventory. The Professional Attire Closet will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Jan. 20 and Jan. 31.

The Professional Attire Closet provides cleaned professional garments to students at no cost. Students are encouraged to take one outfit so as many students as possible can be assisted.

The closet serves as one of several career preparation events organized by Career Services, a division of Student Affairs. Career professionals will be on hand to answer any career questions during the Career Prep Open House event on Jan. 27 at the Bank of America Career Services Center. The drop-in event allows students to stop by during business hours to connect with a career professional and ask questions. Students can drop-in to receive individualized help while enjoying refreshments. Career professionals will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Career counseling  also is available to any student, regardless of major or career interest, during drop-in hours or a scheduled appointment with a counselor. Students can drop-in between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during weekdays without an appointment for a 10-15 minute session. Individual appointments with a counselor can be scheduled using Nittany Lion Careers.

Donations to the Professional Attire Closet are always appreciated. For more information on donating clothing or funds to support students, visit the Professional Attire Closet website.
