Radiology services are now offered at Penn State Hershey Medical Group-Camp Hill. They include diagnostic X-ray imaging, ultrasounds and screening mammograms. Walk-in patients are welcome. In addition, ultrasound and mammography are accepting scheduled appointments. In October, a 3T open-bore MRI also will be available.
The hours for the Radiology Department at Camp Hill are 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. For more information, call the Camp Hill Radiology/Lab desk at 717-531-1447.
Specific department information is listed below:
- -- Diagnostic X-ray imaging: All general diagnostic plain film imaging is available, including long length and scoliosis imaging. No appointments are necessary.
- -- Mammography: Screening mammograms are available as a walk-in exam or as a scheduled appointment. To schedule an exam call the CareLine at 800-243-1455.
- -- Ultrasound radiology services: Services are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Walk-in patients are accepted. Call 717-531-3799 to schedule an ultrasound appointment. Appointments are available between 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The following is a list of ultrasound exams performed at the Camp Hill office:
- -- Abdomen: abdomen, gallbladder, renal/kidney, renal transplant, and aorta
- -- Obstetrics/gynecology: First trimester obstetric ultrasound (less than 12 weeks), limited second and third trimester ultrasound (AFI only), and pelvis ultrasound
- -- General: Pediatric ultrasound except hips and cranials, testicular ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound with the exception of a patient with a history of thyroid cancer, and lower extremity DVT exam.
