UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Starting on Thursday, Nov. 9, Penn State Information Technology (IT) is launching a University-wide effort to measure and improve wireless quality across the Commonwealth. As part of this initiative, feedback about the wireless experience is being requested directly from the Penn State community with a brief survey.
The feedback will be crucial in understanding and improving wireless across Penn State. The survey includes questions to help pinpoint specific buildings, and even rooms, across University Park and all campus locations for the construction of wireless visualizations or "heat maps."
The survey is available at wireless.psu.edu/survey and all Penn State faculty, staff and students are encouraged to complete it whenever they come across a problem area.
