Relay For Life of Penn State to ‘Paint PSU Pink’ on Oct. 26

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Relay For Life of Penn State will be painting campus pink on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Students are encouraged to wear pink on Oct. 26 and visit the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for “Paint PSU Pink.” At the event students will be able to learn more about breast cancer and share what wearing pink means to them.

With statistics showing that one in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime, Relay for Life is partnering with Coaches vs. Cancer, Zeta Tau Alpha, and the Pink Zone to help generate increased awareness about the disease.
