UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present a free workshop titled, “Finding Good Mentors,” from 12:45-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, in 201 Chambers Building on the University Park campus. The workshop will be repeated from 12:45-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in 315 Rider Building.
Finding mentors — and shaping collaborative relationships with them — is one of the most important tasks faced by graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. “Finding Good Mentors” will be led by Kathy Jackson, senior research associate, and graduate consultants Lauren Brooks and David Favre.
