UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Due to unexpected travel delays for keynote speaker Dolores Huerta, tonight’s (Sept. 27) Hispanic Heritage Month Keynote Event in Schwab Auditorium, originally scheduled for 6 p.m., is being delayed two hours and will now begin at 8 p.m.. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Dolores Huerta, American labor leader and civil rights activist, is co-founder of the National Farmworkers Association (later the United Farm Workers), 2012 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, and first Latina inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame.
