UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State University Libraries will hold its spring 2019 International Write-In event on Wednesday, April 24, in Mann Assembly Room, 103 Paterno Library, on the University Park campus. The event, which takes place from 3 to 10 p.m., encourages participants to use dedicated time to work on and complete writing assignments and projects throughout the evening.
Free and open to Penn State undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff members, the Libraries’ Write-In events offer quiet writing spaces and areas for small-group collaboration, as well as support from reference librarians and writing consultants. Snacks, coffee and tea will be provided throughout the event, as well as free pizza midway through the evening.
The event is sponsored by the Graduate Writing Center, Penn State Learning and the University Libraries. Registration for the event is recommended at http://tinyurl.com/psuwritein to assist event planners with preparation of refreshments.
The International Write-In is an event held at colleges and universities around the world. Participants are invited to use the hashtag #IntWriteIn and tag @psulibs to share their thoughts about the Penn State event on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
