UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — "State of Change" will be the theme for the sixth annual State of State Conference, to be held March 31 at the State Theatre in downtown State College. Student, administrative and faculty speakers will present on topics to initiate a "State of Change."
State of State is a student-run organization at Penn State, committed to facilitating a dialogue within the university community about important Penn State-related issues.
"We believe this theme for our annual conference reaches back to our core mission of promoting change in the Penn State community," said Zoe Cykosky, public relations director for State of State, majoring in marketing. "Serving as a platform for actionable ideas and discussion regarding the state of Penn State, we have chosen this year to highlight the State of Change at our University. State of State is an annual conference on March 31st, put together by the Penn State community for the Penn State community. By bringing together innovative speakers and university leaders, we create a dialogue on the present and the future of the University."
Doors will open at 2:30 p.m., with the conference beginning at 3 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. the program will move to the Hintz Family Alumni Center on the University Park campus for hors d'oeuvres and breakout sessions moderated by trained facilitators
