Students can audition for Penn State TV commercial

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Students interested in appearing in an upcoming Penn State television commercial are invited to audition 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in room 110 of the HUB-Robeson Center, University Park.

Decoded Advertising, which is creating the spot in partnership with the Office of Strategic Communications, is seeking students who love Penn State. Students with a range of talents -- from basketball players to baton twirlers — are invited, but no special skill is required. Students with a special talent should bring their instruments or other props that will be part of their audition. Students will be asked to give a quick introduction and perform on camera for approximately 1 minute.

You will need to be available Friday, Sept. 23, for the rehearsal and all day Sept. 24 for the film shoot.

If you can't make it to the audition, send an email with your photo  to PennStateCommercial16@gmail.com by Thursday, Sept. 22. For more information, including details on auditioning for a lead, email PennStateCommercial16@gmail.com.
