UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Due to winter weather, the Penn State Bookstore at University Park campus will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 15. The bookstore is encouraging students to take their rental textbooks home with them to mail back if they are unable to return their rented textbooks in person before leaving campus. Rental returns are due on Saturday, Dec. 17.
To avoid non-return fees, students should log into the Penn State Bookstore’s website and print a return label on or before Dec. 17. The rental books should be placed in the mail by Sunday, Dec. 18.
The system will not assess a non-return fee as long as the label is generated by Dec. 17.
Students at other Penn State campuses can also return their rented textbooks by mail if they are unable to return their textbooks in person.
