UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Office of Undergraduate Education will hold an information session for summer 2017 Erickson Discovery Grants from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, in 106 HUB-Robeson Center. Free pizza will be available.
Erickson Discovery Grants support undergraduate student engagement in original research, scholarship, and creative work under the direct supervision of a faculty member. The grants may be used to cover project costs or living expenses for research initiatives in the sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, and arts.
Designed for Penn State undergraduate students from all campuses in all fields, grants are available for students the summer following their first year of study through the summer before the year in which they will graduate.
Approximately 60 grants, each in the amount of $3,500, are available for the summer of 2017.
Applications for summer 2017 Erickson Discovery Grants will be accepted beginning Dec. 1. Visit undergradresearch.psu.edu for more information about eligibility and application requirements.
