UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — On Wednesday, Aug. 31, Penn State students, faculty and staff can find out all they need to know about getting around campus and town — and enter to win some great prizes.

The Transportation Fair, hosted by Penn State Transportation Services, will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on the HUB lawn. Transportation Services staff and staff from partner organizations will share information on campus parking, biking, transit, bus and shuttle services, Penn State Fleet vehicle rentals, and more.

Visitors can enjoy fresh-baked treats from the Penn State Bakery as they browse the fair. And early birds will get an extra treat: The first 24 visitors will receive a gift card from Jamba Juice or Burger King.

Each visitor will receive a card that can be punched at seven tables: Campus Shuttle/Fleet, CATA, Biking, Spin, University Police, Parking, and Student Employment. Each punch equals an entry into a drawing featuring these prizes:

  • Two student tickets to see John Mulaney at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sept. 25.
  • Two $50 Legends (The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center) gift cards.
  • Five single months of free parking.
  • Ten Campus Dining guest meal passes.
  • Ten Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream cone certificates.
  • Six Penn State Bakery cookie tins.
  • Starbucks gift basket.
  • Spin ride credits.

Fair visitors can receive bonus entries by following Transportation Services on Facebook and Twitter.

The Transportation Fair will feature informational tables where students can learn about employment opportunities with Transportation Services and event sponsors.
