Transportation Services offering free 'Learn to Bike' workshop July 20

Open to the Penn State and Centre Region community, the Bike Den is a welcoming space for people of all ability levels to connect and engage around biking. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Transportation Services will host a free "Learn to Bike" workshop from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at the Bike Den.

Open to anyone at least 18 years old, the workshop will teach attendees how to balance, pedal and steer a bike and is designed for both those new to biking and those who haven’t been on a bike recently and need a refresher.

Preregistration is required by emailing biking@psu.edu. Participants must bring their own bike and helmet to participate. Those without their own equipment may request them in their registration email, but a limited number will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
